You're Researching What? Lunch and Prep for the 3MT
Friday, September 27 | 11 am - 1:30 pm
Pyle Center, the Wisconsin Idea Lounge at 702 Langdon St.
Communicating your research to a non-specialist audience is an essential career skill, whether you’re preparing for job interviews, networking at a conference, or just trying to explain to family and friends what you do with your time. This new event will help graduate students from all disciplines to prepare an accessible, intriguing three-minute talk about their research - and prepare to participate in the 3MT® Three-Minute Thesis competition. Lunch will be provided to all attendees; those who sign up to compete in the 3MT will receive a t-shirt.
