Latest Training Options: Asynchronous Beginner and Advanced Webinars

New, Two-Part Eloqua Beginner Training via Canvas LMS
We’ve been offering a new two-part training and onboarding system since June. Part one consists of an online asynchronous course via the UW-Madison Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) that covers the basics of how to manage Contacts, create an Email and send an email message out with a Simple Campaign. The course includes quizzes and practical exercises to help new users better harness the many details needed for success.  The course can take anywhere from 3-4 hours, depending on the learning style and level of the trainee.

Try the New Redwood Eloqua Interface

As we mentioned in our May newsletter, Oracle is rolling out a new User Interface for Eloqua, called Redwood. It is now partially available under a Controlled Availability(CA) program, which means users can choose to turn the new look on or off as needed.  As of now, there are just two new UI features our UW-Madison users can access: the My Eloqua home page and the Contacts area.

Our Admin team has been granted access to CA and we think you’re going to like how it makes better use of wide screens on desktops and presents the features in an updated graphic approach.

We’d now like to offer all of our UW-Madison users the ability to try Redwood via Controlled Availability.

Oracle Eloqua Quarterly Update August 18
This Eloqua quarterly update (#23C) focuses on many behind-the-scenes enhancements, but there is one “front end” update we think you’ll find very useful. After 8/19/23, you will have the ability to set an expiration date and subsequent redirect for Eloqua Landing Pages. Post special offers, event registration forms or anything that is date-sensitive, and set an expiration date to automatically “close” access to the Landing Page and send a contact to a new URL.

Cloud Customer Connect Replaces Topliners
Oracle has an online user community for each of its applications that allows users to pose questions, submit new ideas, and learn from other users. These communities gives customers a voice. The community formerly known as Topliners is now called Oracle Customer Connect, and while it does require you to create a new user account, it is a free service that you can use to keep up with the world of Eloqua.
