Happy Holidays — We'll See You in 2021!
Here's a peek at what's coming up...
Our second annual Data Science Research Bazaar is happening throughout February 2021, on February 3, 4, 10, 17, & 24, focusing on the theme "Data Science for the Social Good." The Data Science Research Bazaar will be a virtual opportunity for researchers and data scientists from various disciplines and industries who will have opportunities to share their work, collaborate, and discuss their data science interests. The conference will feature lightning talks, posters, interactive discussions, workshops, a wellness session, a career panel, and an art exhibit. Registration will open during the first week of January—stay tuned for that announcement.
There's still time to register for Data Carpentry, happening on January 18, 20, 22, and 25! Sign up for the workshop to learn best practices when using spreadsheets to manage your data, cleaning data with OpenRefine, creating and using a database for your research, and using R to automate data cleaning and analysis. This workshop is open to researchers in any discipline.
