  Mental Health Support for Graduate Students  

If you or someone you know needs mental health support, University Health Services provides individual counseling, informal drop-in consultations, group counseling, and more. Several resources are designed specifically for graduate students.

Let's Talk:

No topic is off limits at these no-cost, informal, confidential consultations. Common concerns include: stress, sadness, worry, relationships, academics, family problems, and financial struggles. Pick from a range of Let's Talk sessions, including Grad Student Experiences on Mondays from 3-5pm (virtual).

Group Counseling:

Join hundreds participating in group counseling at UHS every semester. Connect with others in a safe, confidential and supportive space.The Spring Group Counseling Schedule includes groups for graduate students, dissertators, and international students.

Not sure where to start?

Contact the Office of Student Assistance and Support (OSAS). OSAS is a first stop to connect to campus resources, whether you have concerns about a student or need support yourself.

  Mid-Semester Feedback  

How is your class going? A short survey can help you learn what is working well for your students and discover simple changes to improve your class.

Thirty-one exceptional graduate students have been selected as recipients of the 2024-25 Campus-Wide Teaching Assistant Awards, recognizing their strengths and commitment surrounding the craft of teaching.

The winners were celebrated at the annual reception, held this year at Tripp Commons in the Memorial Union and live-streamed to friends and family.

Nominations for next year's awards open in the fall.
