Eloqua Evolves

New Redwood User Experience to Come This Year
Oracle is rolling out a new User Experience (UX), called Redwood, across its many cloud applications, including Eloqua. More than just a color and font refresh, Redwood is also a significant function and feature enhancement.

We are excited for this long-anticipated change, though it won't take effect for our campus instance until later in the year. Get a sense for what the experience will be like in this Redwood User Experience“sneak peek” video overview by Oracle’s product team.

Eloqua Beginner Training Moves Online
The Marketing Automation support team has been creating a new Eloqua Beginner training course on the Canvas Learning Management System.  We are going through final testing of the course now, and are looking forward to offering it to new beginning users and also to those who would like a review of the basics. We hope to launch the Canvas course training sometime later this month.

This is part of our overall plan to offer more support for UW–Madison Eloqua users’ advanced needs, helping develop and strengthen Eloqua Email and Campaign expertise.

Eloqua 23B Update This Friday, 5/19
Oracle will be performing Eloqua updates this week as part of its quarterly update process. You may encounter a message about this when you log in to Eloqua. The Marketing Automation team monitors updates on behalf of our campus instance and users.

This update has some minor tweaks and updates in various areas of the application, but none that will affect UW-Madison in a noticeable way.  If you're interested, you can read details on this release in the Topliners user community.  The Marketing Automation team can also answer your questions.
