The number of enrolled students has increased yearly since 2016 (page 2).
First-year student retention, as well as 4-year and 6-year graduation rates, increased (page 22).
UW–Madison ranks 3rd among Big Ten institutions, 4th among U.S. public institutions, and 6th among all U.S. institutions for research and development expenditures (page 70).
UW–Madison’s budget has diverse funding sources, with federal programs, gifts and grants, and tuition making up 64% (page 75).
