The Research at UW–Madison website includes information from both public and campus sources. Academic Analytics compiles publicly available information on journal publications, citations, books, federal grants, professional honors, patents, and clinical trials. Data from UW-Madison on non-federal grants, courses recently taught, and technologies available for licensing through WARF are also included. Researchers can also request additions or edits. DAPIR manages the Research at UW–Madison site.

Policy update: Release of Wiscard Data
|
The policy governing the release of Wiscard data to campus software applications has been revised. It now applies to all Wiscard data, including photos, IDs, and biometric data such as fingerprints and photographic likenesses. The use of this sensitive data must be approved by the Data Governance Council, which serves as the designated data steward. Questions about Wiscard data may be submitted to the council via the Data Issue Management Form.
