The Badger Data Platform—simplified and expanded institutional data access
The Badger Data Platform provides a centralized, scalable, and flexible way to manage UW–Madison’s data.

Visit DAPIR’s website to explore the new services, understand how data flows through the Badger Data Platform, and find KBs to help with requesting access and setup.

The platform:
  • Uses a unified security model, based on data governance domains. You can access the data you need with your single sign-on NetID.
  • Provides a location to analyze data from multiple warehouses, cloud applications, and systems in a single query.
  • Can grow with the university’s ever-changing data environment.

A recap of December's Badger Data Network
Adam Paulick, Associate Vice Chancellor & Executive Director for Enterprise Applications, joined us to explain the Workday and Enterprise Solutions Team’s (WEST) business functions, including payroll, financial accounting, and sponsored research and grants.

Adam also discussed ongoing stabilization efforts in the data and reporting space.
