May is Mental Health Awareness Month–a time to shine a light on the importance of mental well-being for all. We are pleased to share SAMHSA's Mental Health Awareness Month Toolkit, an essential resource to help you promote mental well-being. The toolkit includes ready-to-use social media graphics, outreach ideas, fact sheets, and messaging to support individuals, families, and communities. Use it to raise awareness, fight stigma, and spark meaningful conversations in May and all year round.

Conflict to Connection: Create the Conditions for Healthy Disagreement

Conflict is ever-present in our professional and personal lives. Our knee-jerk reaction is to avoid it at all costs. However, healthy disagreement is in fact essential in our work. How can we encourage different viewpoints and use conflict as an opportunity for growth? In this 90-minute peer sharing session, a series of guided questions will be used to gain a deeper understanding of our collective relationship with conflict, discuss ways to reframe it and strategies to embrace it.

Substance Use Disorders Boot Camp

This training aims to enhance confidence and competencies related to the management of substance use disorders in general medical settings. Through case-based and interactive didactic content, the workshop will explore issues related to assessment, monitoring, prevention, and management of issues that commonly occur with substance use (for example addiction, infectious disease, mental health issues).
