Forests capture carbon dioxide, and Wisconsin’s forests are especially good at it. PhD student Bailey Murphy is gathering data on carbon dynamics through a large-scale project in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Her results could help influence state and federal management policies. Read More
