The Mead Witter School of Music partnered with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra this month to bring Patrice Rushen to campus as a guest artist for their Changemakers series. The event included a concert featuring Rushen’s work and an opportunity for her to talk directly to music students who are striving to be seen and heard in an industry that is saturated with talented musicians.
