Welcome new Badgers! On Sept. 5, Dean Eric Wilcots welcomed more than 1,800 new L&S freshmen students, in person at Memorial Union Terrace, during the 2023 Convocation events. The day started with College welcome presentations inside Shannon Hall and was followed by Dean remarks on the beautiful Memorial Union Terrace. L&S students then made their way across campus to Gordon Commons where they met up with the rest of the University’s 2023 freshmen class for a complimentary lunch, followed by the University’s Convocation event in the Kohl Center.
