Department administrator Jenni Hart elected to L&S Committee on Academic Staff Issues
Jenni was elected by her peers to a three-year term as a member of the College of Letters and Science Committee on Academic Staff Issues. In her role, she will help to formulate, review and assist in the development of policies and procedures concerning staff members within L&S. Additionally, she will provide advice to Dean Wilcots on developing opportunities for staff to get involved and be recognized for their work. Congratulations, Jenni!
Journalism Reading Room receives Friends of the Library grant
PA Librarian Michelle Foster and the Journalism Reading Room received a Friends of the Library grant award to aid in the preservation of their print periodicals. The funds will be used between now and June 2024 to bind the remaining unbound issues of Advertising Age, Adweek and Broadcasting & Cable. By keeping these journals in excellent condition, the JRR can ensure access to them for years to come. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work on this, Michelle!
