Over 400 students attend event featuring BOV member Andy Katz

Hearty congratulations to the Public Engagement Committee (Deb Pierce, Kara Rheingans, Rowan Calyx, Pam Garcia-Rivera, Kate Christy and Dhavan Shah) for the tremendously successful Ralph O. And Monona H. Nafziger Lecturer Thursday evening. More than 400 people packed the room to hear Andy Katz of the NCAA and Big 10 Network. Student questions following the talk were particularly outstanding. Thanks to all for the hard work in revitalizing this lecture series. We are looking forward to Manu Raju’s Nafziger Lecture coming this fall.

Another huge thank you to BOV member and UW alum Andy Katz for sharing his time and experiences with our students! We are so fortunate to have incredible alumni dedicated to inspiring the next generation of communicators.
