Jing was recently accepted into the
Madison Teaching and Learning Excellence (MTLE) early-career faculty development fellowship program for the Spring–Fall 2025 cohort. MTLE is a faculty learning community offered by the Center for Teaching, Learning & Mentoring. Over the course of the year, participants explore evidence-based pedagogy and apply it to their own teaching and mentoring. Faculty who've participated in MTLE say it's made them more effective teachers, freed up time for other responsibilities – namely research – and increased their satisfaction with teaching.
