Shreenita Ghosh successfully defends doctoral dissertation

From Doug McLeod: Shreenita Ghosh successful defended her doctoral dissertation entitled, “The Ecology of #MeToo Backlash: An asymmetrically polarized affective connective communicative network.” Her multi-method computation study examined the characteristics of social media discourse pertaining to backlash against the #MeToo Movement. Her committee consisted of SJMC professors Doug McLeod (advisor), Dhavan Shah, and Sue Robinson, as well as Myra Marx Ferree (Sociology) and Christine Garlough (Gender and Women’s Studies). Congratulations Shreenita!

PhD alum Seungahn Nah named UF chair in media trust
