From Doug McLeod: Shreenita Ghosh successful defended her doctoral dissertation entitled, “The Ecology of #MeToo Backlash: An asymmetrically polarized affective connective communicative network.” Her multi-method computation study examined the characteristics of social media discourse pertaining to backlash against the #MeToo Movement. Her committee consisted of SJMC professors Doug McLeod (advisor), Dhavan Shah, and Sue Robinson, as well as Myra Marx Ferree (Sociology) and Christine Garlough (Gender and Women’s Studies).
