Recent PhD graduate Omar Dumdum delivers speech during International Student Graduation Celebration
Omar was invited to deliver his speech on behalf of graduating international students during the International Student Graduation Celebration on May 11. In his speech, Omar highlighted the role of international students in diversifying the campus and expanding the reach of Badger alumni worldwide. He also talked about the unique historical links between the J-School and his home country in the Philippines. The program was attended by Interim Vice Provost and International Division Dean Barry Gerhart and International Student Services Director Samantha McCabe. Read Omar's full speech.
