Administrative Support Rowan Calyx celebrates 10 years at the J-School

This week, Rowan celebrated a major milestone anniversary after 10 years at the J-School and UW-Madison. Rowan works tirelessly to ensure that the daily operations of our school run smoothly. Rowan is also committed to creating an inclusion and welcoming community within the J-School and serves as a UW-Madison HIB (Hostile and Intimidating Behavior) liaison. HIB liaisons serve as points of contact for those who have experienced, have witnessed, or have questions about hostile and intimidating behavior. The J-School is so grateful for all the work that Rowan does for our community. Congratulations, Rowan, on 10 great years!

Administrative Support Angelina Stone organizes successful Baking a Difference Pie Raffle

As part the annual Partners in Giving campaign, Angelina organized a pie raffle to raise money for the Partners in Giving General Fund which distributes donations to various community charities. Several faculty and staff members and graduate student Lynne Cotter donated pies and a challah (thank you, Lynne, for one of the most bid on items in the raffle). Thank you, Angelina for organizing such a great event and thank you to all those that donated pies!
