This past Tuesday, the Center for Journalism Ethics hosted an event with UW Journalist in Residence and POLITICO columnist Jonathan Martin which was featured on WPR. Martin spoke with alum Mike Gousha (BA'78) about the challenges of covering politics today. Congratulations to CJE Administrator and event wizard Krista Eastman on such a successful event!

Adam spoke about his book, The Sixteenth Rail, and Madison's famous wood scientist Arthur Koeher's role in the Lindbergh baby kidnapping trial, at the Forensic Friday educational series at the Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law at Duquesne University.
Teaching faculty Adam Schrager speaks to Council of State Governments' Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development
Adam presented the story of former Colorado Governor Ralph Carr who defended the rights of Japanese Americans after the attack at Pearl Harbor and his biography, The Principled Politician, to dozens of state Midwestern lawmakers as part of the Council of State Governments' Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development.
PhD alum Moonhoon Choi and family featured in Samsung article
Moonhoon and his family were recently featured in an article about the Samsung Olympic Games Pin Masters Challenge which invited fans to join several Galaxy AI-powered challenges at the Samsung pop-up experiences across Paris for a chance to collect 16 specially created pins — including the extremely rare Golden Pin — and become a Samsung Olympic Games Pin Master. Moonhoon's son, Ben, who became a pin master this summer at the Paris Olympic Games.
