Vilas Insider Newsletter - Fall 2021
A Message from SJMC Director Hernando Rojas:
It is wonderful to greet you from Madison this fall! I’m happy to say that I’m writing this message to you from our home in Vilas Hall. Classes for the fall semester are taking place 90% in person, which is in line with pre-pandemic course delivery. Vaccination rates on campus for students, faculty and staff are above 91% and masks are required indoors, making me optimistic that safe face to face instruction will continue throughout the academic year. As we look ahead to 2021 and beyond, we want to thank our alumni and friends for their ongoing support. Your next opportunity to contribute to the continued success of our school is during Fill the Hill, October 28-29. We hope you’ll join us to show your J-School pride! On Wisconsin!
