Vilas Insider Newsletter - Winter 2021
A Message from SJMC Director Hernando Rojas:
Greetings from the J-School! As we come to the conclusion of another semester, I want to reflect on all that our faculty, staff, students and alumni have been able to achieve together. As we transitioned back to in-person classes, our students and instructors managed a safe and enthusiastic return to the classroom. Researchers have been hard at work on exploring some of the biggest issues facing society today, including combating misinformation. Our alumni have been honored for their outstanding careers in communications. Friends of the School have come together in support of current students, raising over $13,000 during Fill the Hill. I am truly proud of all we've accomplished, and deeply grateful to everyone that made it possible. This quarter's newsletter contains some of the stories of what made this semester great. If you'd like to help ensure the continued success of the School, consider a gift to SJMC in your end of year giving plans.

On, Wisconsin!
