This workshop will help you start the semester with confidence and coordination. Whether you're teaching a new course for the first time or revisiting an existing course, you'll come away with fresh ideas and strategies you can put to use right away.
You'll also enjoy time to connect face-to-face with colleagues and build community around teaching and learning.
Topics include:
- Creating a learner-centered syllabus
- Lowering barriers for learners – and for you – with Universal Design for Learning
- Building your course around the learning you and your students hope to see
- Using low-stakes writing assignments across disciplines for active learning and inclusive teaching
